Data sources
Where the records come from
A record enters the shared base only from a source whose licence or terms allow the reuse. Each record keeps its source, the day it was read and the legal basis it is held on. An e-mail address is never built from a name.

A company's own website
Where the law of its country allows it, a company's general inbox is read from its own site: the address it publishes for being written to, never a named person. The reader names itself and obeys the site's robots file. About our reader →
Lists a customer uploads
A workspace may add its own contacts. Those rows belong to that workspace alone, no other customer can match them, and the workspace states the legal basis it holds them on.
If you are in the base
You can ask what is held about you, have it erased, or object to being contacted. Your data rights →
